The tools themselves
Every tool on Text Toolkit runs entirely in your browser. Whatever you type or paste into a tool (an essay, some Markdown, a list of lines, anything) is processed locally on your device using JavaScript. None of it is ever sent to our servers or any third party, because we don't have servers that process it. We have no accounts, no database, and no way to see your input even if we wanted to.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate traffic: things like which tools are popular and roughly where visitors come from. Plausible doesn't use cookies and doesn't collect or store any personal data or cross-site identifiers; it can't be used to track you individually across visits or other websites.
Advertising
This site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can learn more about how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ad Settings.
Cookies
Text Toolkit itself does not set any cookies. Third-party services embedded on the site (currently Google AdSense, when active) may set their own, subject to their own privacy policies linked above.
